Death is an old friend and an enemy, she is a mercy and a curse, she is end, beginning, and change, she is darkness and a guiding light, she is love and the seperation thereof, she is beyond our understanding yet the one truth we must all come to terms with.
This blog is a scattering of literary/media perspectives towards death, from Italian World War I poetry and Japanese indie movies, to Nigerian theatre and Americana folk songs. There is no attempt to be complete, as such an endeavour cannot be. There is an attempt to be interesting, thoughtful, and in some respect comforting.
